Mr. Somal is an HP MASE SAN Architect (one of 250 worldwide). In addition to having attained two HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer credentials (SAN Architect, and SQL Server) he holds many other industry standard credentials from Microsoft, Cisco, and even holds industry recognized elite security credentials from ISC2.org and ISACA (previously known as Information Systems Audit and Control Association) such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager). Mr. Somal has a MBA in Finance and Marketing from Rutgers University and a Masters in Commerce. Mr. Somal is very well known amongst the HP engineers in the US specializing in this amazing technology.
Mr. Somal has demonstrated his capabilities by delivering significant value to the healthcare industry. He helped OPTIMUS Health Care, the largest provider of primary healthcare services in southwestern Connecticut, achieve transformational results through innovative solutions driven by his expertise. Our chief technology officer was one of two engineers featured by HP on their site HPNow viewed by 140,000 HP employees in 170 countries. An example of Mr. Somal’s competence was demonstrated when he was called to install systems at XL where he implemented SAN technology increasing the performance of the systems by 412%. XL had previously struggled with this technology for 3 years investing over 2.5 million dollars and failed.
